In 1975, a perfect swell graced Burleigh Point for 28 days straight – a freak of nature that has never been repeated. Yoshi from Takeda Custom Surfboards took inspiration from this phenomenon and hand-shaped this 1970’s Michael Peterson 7’6 semi gun replica using the original MP surfboard cardboard template, generously donated by the Surf World Museum in Currumbin.
