We just got bigger! New Fermentation tanks
Have you ever wondered how new fermentation tanks get installed at Burleigh Brewing? Or what fermentation actually is? You’ve come to the right place. This week we just got bigger and added in two new Fermentation tanks.

On Saturday 30th of January we boosted our production capacity at Burleigh Brewing to take our famous Queensland Burleigh beers to a bigger Australian market. We have grown year-on-year since pioneering the state’s craft beer scene in 2006, and over the recent weekend, two more giant 30,000 litre fermenter tanks were installed in our Burleigh Heads brewery.
Each tank stands at 7.2 meters tall and holds around 100,000 beers.
Burleigh Brewing Co-founder and Brewmaster, Brennan Fielding, says the added production capacity was a milestone development for the brewery. More importantly, as we continue to grow and further supply local craft beer to the Australian market, we’re able to offer more jobs to locals and encourage more people to embark on an exciting career in the craft beer industry.
