COVID Contact Tracing:

At the Burleigh Brewing Taphouse, we use a QR Code and record keeping system provided by Safe Visit (https://safevisit.com.au). In accordance with our Privacy Policy, any personal information obtained via that process will only be used for the purpose for which it was collected, being contact tracing.  All personally identifiable data captured through SafeVisit is kept within Australia through their Sydney servers provisioned by Amazon Web Service. SafeVisit advises:

“SafeVisit utilises Amazon Web Services (AWS) as we identified & acknowledge their globally trusted platforms and services, especially when it comes to cybersecurity & privacy concerns. AWS also has a proven track record in providing services to financial and educational institutions, healthcare providers and government agencies. Digitally storing your customers data will be safer and more secure than paper based alternatives where it can either be misplaced, damaged or copied/photographed by others. We have managed vast customer data for years across a range of prior projects and have done our due diligence to ensure we are compliant with all required standards. Further info around AWS security and privacy can be found here. Specific to Australia, and how AWS complies with Australian legislation can be found here. Last, but not least, is our Privacy Policy under ParkCollect Pty Ltd here.
We will store your data based on the required period of time dictated by state governments (or any other jurisdictional requirements). After this period, this data will be forever deleted. Rest assured, these records will not be used for any other purpose aside from contact tracing.”
