Oktoberfest Brisbane 2022
In the spirit of International Beer Day we’re super excited to announce our partnership with Oktoberfest Brisbane!
Burleigh Brewing has had the privilege of brewing the Burleigh Dunkel for Oktoberfest Brisbane for the last 10 years. This year, we are the exclusive Bier provider for the festival! Oktoberfest Brisbane is all about authenticity and Brewmaster Brennan is no stranger to Reinheitsgebot (that’s the Bavarian Bier Purity Law!) or German brewing, having originally started his career in a German brewery.
As the exclusive bier partner, we’ll be brewing three traditional German Biers 🍻
With the addition of a Helles & Weissbier, our brew team is stoked to once again bring back our beloved Oktoberfest Dunkel – which is brewed with yeast sourced from a 600 year old German Monastery, hops from the Hallertau Region and malt from the Bramberg area.

What happens at Oktoberfest? The Only Oktoberfest Brisbane is Australia’s biggest and most authentic annual German celebration. You can expect toe-tapping traditional German music, mouth-watering food and drink – from pretzels and pork knuckles to the best wurst outside Germany – and of course world-class traditionally brewed Bier.
