GC LAUGHS 2020 – CANCELLED
GC Laughs went ahead with the opening gala on the weekend with a turn-out of 1000 people but unfortunately moving forward the event has been CANCELLED.
A message from our friends @gclaughsfestival
“After months of planning and preparation this is certainly not the news we want to be sharing – unfortunately the GC Laughs events planned this week are to be cancelled. GC Laughs was due to present some of the top names in comedy from across Australia and internationally again this year. After discussions with performers and heeding national advice regarding the developing situation, we have come to the conclusion that the best decision for the health and well-being of the community, artists and staff is to not proceed with the GC Laughs events planned for this week (March 16 – March 21). We are working closely with HOTA to reschedule events and they will be in touch with ticket holders to arrange refunds or to transfer tickets for rescheduled shows. This may take up 10 days and events early in the festival will be the first priority. Please bear with us. The ice-cream has been knocked from our hand, but we’re scooping more into a fresh cone as we speak – stay tuned!”
