That’s right not one, not two but three Gold Medals, we definitely did a triple take when the news came through.
On top of the three Golds another of our beers entered, Duke Helles, also received a Silver Medal too!
It’s exciting and satisfying to know that the FIGJAM IPA has been awarded a Gold Medal every year it has been entered into the competition (2012, 2013 and 2014).
The latest round of Medals have capped off an incredible year for Burleigh Brewing at the World Beer Championships with 28 Pale Ale and My Wife’s Bitter recently picking up Gold Medals and Dream Date collecting a Silver Medal in September.
The World Beer Championships are run annually in a series of style-based tasting sessions in a dedicated tasting lab at the Beverage Testing Institute (BTI) in Chicago, and are one of the most professional and highly regarded competitions in the world. Over 1000 beers were tasted as part of the 2014 World Beer Championships program.
