Rosie Dennis, BLEACH* Artistic Director and CEO of Placemakers* Gold Coast is absolutely thrilled to host the festival in summer amongst the locals,

With events around the world cancelled, postponed, discontinued, reimagined and repackaged for online, it was important to me, that here on the GC, in this culturally ambitious City, we find a way to make our Festival a possibility. With the support of the City of Gold Coast, I’m thrilled that we’ve been able to do just that, to bring this year’s Festival to you, in real life, across three unique hubs – Burleigh Heads, Chevron Island and the Botanic Gardens to tell the stories of this place, in this time.”

The program is always action packed and inspiring, this year they’re stepping it up a notch,

“The program invites you to be adventurous; to step into someone else’s shoes for an afternoon or evening; to escape from the everyday with an unexpected experience; to dive in, boots and all and have a good time. Whether that’s down at Burleigh Heads for sunrise performances, recitals at dusk, evening light installations or a drink at the BLEACH* bar; or over on Chevron Island where we welcome you to Club Chez Nous for cabaret, opera, music and more, or within the grounds of the Botanic Gardens where a special concert has been curated with works from one of our finest living composers, Elena Kats-Chernin.”

So, as partners of Bleach* for the ninth year, Burleigh Brewing encourages you to head down to the Bleach* Club for a Burleigh Mid-Tide, and support the amazing local artist, dancers, storytellers, musicians and actors!
